Milena Lange is a soprano from Poland. She graduated from the Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the singing class of prof. Anna Radziejewska. She is the artist with a wide circle of musical interests, participant and winner of many vocal competitions for young artists. She performed in National Philharmonic in Warsaw, in Cracow Congress Centre ICE, The Royal Castle in Warsaw, Forest Opera in Sopot and in other polish philharmonics.
She collaborates with many chamber orchestras and symphony orchestras in Poland including: Symphony Orchestra of Artur Malawski Philharmonic in Rzeszów; Świętokrzyska Philharmonic Orchestra in Kielce; Kalisz Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra; Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra, Częstochowa Philharmonic Orchestra; Silesian Chamber Orchestra; Warsaw Impressione Orchestra.
In the course of her previous artistic activity she has worked with such conductors as: Andrea de Carlo, Ruben Silva, Krzesimir Dębski, Tomasz Szymuś, Maciej Niesiołowski, Piotr Wijatkowski, Bartosz Żurakowski, Adam Klocek…
Her repertoire is rich with many soprano opera parts including: Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte), Contessa (Le Nozze di Figaro), Donna Elwira (Don Giovanni), Semiramide (Semiramide), Carmen (Carmen), Vitelia (La Clemenza di Tito), Salome (Herodiade), Agathe (Der Freischütz), Anne (The Rake’s Progress) and many others. Her oratorio, cantata and song repertoire is constantly expanding. Milena Lange have performed the concerts to the delight of audiences around Poland and abroad (Italy, France, Norway, Croatia, Lithuania) In May 2017, she presented the series of "Kurpie Songs Op. 58 " by Karol Szymanowski in the" Five o'clock "program in National Polish Radio. Still perfecting her skills, she takes active part in opera and musical spectacles. In March 2018 she took part in the world preview of the opera "Il Trespolo Tutore" by Allessandro Stradella, in which she played the main role - Artemisia with the Orchestra of Historical Instruments of the Early Music Department under the baton of Maestro Andrea De Carlo from the Conservatorio Statale di Musica Alessandro Casella in Aquileia. In April 2018, for the role of Artemisia in the performance of Il Trespolo Tutore received the second prize in the competition for the most interesting personality of the 11th International Opera Youth Forum in Bydgoszcz (Poland).
Another important opera role in the artist's career was the title character of Semiramide from Gioacchino Rossini's opera, which she played in 2021 thanks to cooperation with the Theater Academy A. Zelwerowicz in Warsaw under the supervision of director Michał Znaniecki.
In 2020, she became a beneficiary of the Culture Support Fund program, thanks to which she organized four large artistic events with the participation of soloists and a symphony orchestra. In 2021, she was awarded the honorary title of the Ambassador of Stalowa Wola for outstanding achievements and promotion of her hometown. Milena is also a founder and manager of the MS Promotion which organizes various cultural events (opera, operetta, musical performances, concerts) promoting classical music at the high artistic level in Poland.
In 2022, she started cooperation with the Swiss music agency Vida Art, which promotes the artist in countries such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and France.
